  17.      Although 500,000 Americans fall victim to strokes each year, and is the
  18. third leading cause of death, only 1% of those responding to a recent survey
  19. named stroke as a leading cause of death.  More disturbing still, though
  20. stroke is the number one cause of adult disability, 40 percent of the survey
  21. participants did not know stroke warning signs and 3% said there were none.
  22. Wrong!  The National Stroke Association, wants you to know better and has
  23. prepared an extremely informative and educational booklet entitled  "Stroke:
  24. Reducing Your Risk".  You will find the answer to many questions about stroke,
